Brundholme Bed & Breakfast - Keswick (Cumbria)

The room offered amazing mountain views, a real highlight after a long day of exploring. Having a mini fridge stocked with fresh milk and water was a convenient touch for making tea or coffee in the cozy accommodations.

WiFi was a bit of a letdown-weak and intermittent were good. The en-suite bathroom felt cramped with a tiny sink that led to wet floors, and I had to address some housekeeping issues myself, including cleaning debris from the bath drainage. The overall decor appeared somewhat dated, detracting from the cozy charm I was hoping for, and space for luggage was limited. The breakfast menu lacked variety in breads and choices in timing, feel rather restrictive. A few minor maintenance issues like difficulty opening some windows added to the rough edges of my vacays.

Appreciated the place, had a really enjoyable stay for another 4 nights each time. The breakfast was hot and amazing with plentiful fresh fruit, amazing food.

Had a fab time here! The breakfast was absolutely delish, especially the omelette! 😋 Location is spot on, just a short walk to town. Minor drawback? Wi-Fi was a bit dodgy.

I had a lovely stay where I enjoyed a cozy room with an amazing view of Skiddaw and the delicious breakfast options that really set me up for the day. The location was ideal, just a quick walk to the market square. The breakfast variety exceeded my expectations, freshly prepared and delicious. The views from the double room with mountain view were amazing and enhanced the experience.

The central location allowed easy access to the town center and Lake Derwentwater, just a 5-minute walk away. My room provided fine views of the surrounding fells, and it was well-kept and comfortable, which contributed positively to my productivity. The owners were accommodating. The complimentary tea and cakes upon arrival were a thoughtful touch. Breakfast choices were plentiful and well-prepared, ensuring a great start to my day.

fantastic central spot for sights and park views

I had an amazing stay with a cozy room that offered amazing mountain views, just a short stroll from the charming town center and lush Crow Park, perfect for those leisurely walks I love so much.

The room was super comfy with an amazin view of the mountains, perfect for chillin after a long day of walkin. Brekfast was great too, lots of choices and really well cooked. Also loved that there was a mini fridge in the room with fresh milk and water, a nice little touch. The location is spot on, just a short walk to keswick town and the lake.

the wi-fi was a bit patchy at times, and finding the car park at first was kinda confusing.

Just a reliable pick for a swift stopover in Keswick with great value for money. The cooked breakfast was genuinely the best I've had in a while. Try to enjoy the views from the common areas. They're fine.

wonderful stay with minor setbacks

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the lake and town center. I enjoyed the spaciousness of my room with fine mountain views that created a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast in the hotel next door was excellent, with plenty of delicious options to choose from.

The food was gorgeous - cereal and fresh fruit. the room had a mini fridge, coffee, and a TV, plus a large bed. the location was excellent, near everything, and the staff were really helpful. Close to the lake, town centre, supermarket, and bus station.
